Tragic weekend on PEI roads

It was a tragic weekend on Island roads.  R-C-M-P  say three people died in two separate crashes in Western PEI.  A 22-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, both from Prince County,  died following a single-vehicle crash Friday night on Route 163 near the Burleigh Road in East Bideford.  A woman in her 20’s, also from Prince County, was taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.  Earlier on Friday, police say a Prince County man in his 40’s died at the scene when his potato truck went off Route 2 and overturned in Carleton, near Coleman.
