Kensington Police say that in the early morning hours on Saturday, a white Toyota Corolla was clocked travelling at 91 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Victoria Street West in Kensington. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the driver fled the area, ignoring emergency lights and sirens.
Due to public safety concerns, officers did not pursue. Police immediately issued a Be On the Lookout alert to surrounding police agencies. Kensington Police say the incident is under active investigation and will be taken seriously.
