CUPE healthcare workers ratify new collective agreement with Health PEI

CUPE healthcare workers across PEI have voted overwhelmingly in favour of their new collective agreement with Health PEI. Approximately 75% of the CUPE healthcare workers participated in the vote, with 99.6% of ballots cast supporting the deal.  The ratified agreement, which runs from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2026, delivers gains in wages, retention, and staffing stability.  CUPE Healthcare locals represent members in hospitals, long-term care, addiction services, and public health offices.
