Kensington Police say an elderly resident in the Town was rescued Sunday during a well-being check. Kensington Police were asked to check on the resident as they hadn’t been seen in some time. When no one answered the door, the officer took immediate action and got into the home through a window in an effort to ensure the resident’s safety. Inside, they discovered the individual had fallen and had been on the floor for an extended period of time. Thanks to the swift response and care of the officer, and the concerned community member who called, the resident was located alive and in stable condition. They were taken to Prince County Hospital for medical attention.
