Early closure Monday for KCMH emergency department

Health PEI advises that the Emergency Department at King County Memorial Hospital closed as of 4 p.m. on Monday.  The early closure was to ensure support for higher than usual patient needs amid a temporary reduction of regular staffing . The Emergency Department will reopen Tuesday (June 24th) at 8a.m.  Anyone with emergency medical needs should call 9-1-1.
