US strikes three Iranian nuclear sites

The US has struck three Iranian nuclear sites, joining an Israeli air campaign early Sunday.   President Donald Trump confirmed the American military strike on social media, directly joining Israel’s effort to decapitate Iran’s nuclear program, which could spark a wider regional conflict. Trump claims it was a “very successful attack” on three sites.  The president said B-2 stealth bombers were used, but did not specify which types of bombs were dropped.
