Busy Weekend in Summerside

It’s a busy weekend of events in the City of Summerside.   A total of 140 teams are participating in Noah Dobson’s
HockeyFest at Credit Union Place.  The City, through its Sport Entertainment Tourism Summerside division and other supporting departments, is hosting the event for three days through Sunday.  On Friday, the Olde Fashioned Carnival was held at Lefurgey Cultural Centre in Summerside.  The Shipwright’s Run, with 150 runners taking part, is taking place today (Saturday) at Credit Union Place.  There’s also the Red Isle Relay on Sunday.
