Fuel prices continue to rise as the markets experience increased volatility. The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission okayed an increase overnight in the price of regular gasoline of 4.5 cents per litre. The price of premium gasoline went up by 4.5 cents per litre. The price of diesel rose by 7.0 cents per litre, and the price of furnace oil increased by 5.0 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from $1.54 to $1.55 per litre. Diesel costs you $1.67 to $1.68 per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is $1.19 per litre.
