Due to volatility over the past few days, the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has approved an unscheduled adjustment in fuel prices. The price of regular gasoline increased by 3.0 cents per litre overnight, while the price of premium gasoline went up by 2.5 cents per litre. The price of diesel increased by 8.0 cents per litre and the price of furnace oil rose by 6.0 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from $1.49 to $1.50 per litre. Diesel costs you $1.59 to $1.60 per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is $1.14 per litre.
