Busy weekend for PEI RCMP with 11 checkpoints and 4 impaired drivers stopped

On the weekend, PEI RCMP conducted 11 checkpoints and stopped 4 impaired drivers, as well as 3 drivers for driving while disqualified.  In one incident last Friday afternoon in Murray Harbour, Kings District RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash that led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man for impaired driving by alcohol. The man did not suffer any serious injuries.
