The man suspected of killing a Minnesota lawmaker and wounding another has been taken into custody, bringing an end to a massive, nearly two-day manhunt.
Law enforcement officials say 57-year-old Vance Boelter was arrested near his farm in Green Isle, Minnesota, after being spotted on a trail camera Sunday night.
Investigators say several firearms were recovered from Boelter’s vehicle along with “No Kings” flyers and writings mentioning the names of the victims, abortion providers, and other Democratic lawmakers.
Boelter was wanted for Saturday morning’s shooting of two Minneapolis Democratic lawmakers and their spouses, leaving one couple dead and the other seriously injured.
