37-year old man arrested after firearm incident in Clinton

Last Friday afternoon, Prince District RCMP responded to a report of an incident involving the pointing of a firearm at a person at a home in Clinton. Officers located the suspect, a 37-year old man, a short time later in a vehicle and took him into custody while seizing a long gun and ammunition. He was transported to hospital and will appear in court at a later date. The Provincial Joint Enforcement Team assisted by executing a search warrant at a Charlottetown home on Friday.  They seized another six long guns, body armour, and ammunition.
