The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has approved increases in gas, diesel and furnace oil prices. The price of regular gasoline increased overnight by 2.5 cents per litre, while the price of premium gasoline went up by 3.0 cents per litre. The price of furnace oil rose by 3.0 cents per litre, and the price of diesel increased by 4.5 cents per litre. Propane prices decreased by between 1.5 and 1.9 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from $1.46 to $1.47 per litre. Diesel goes for $1.49 to $1.51 per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is $1.07 per litre. Propane prices sit between 82 and 84 cents per litre.
