Greens call on Premier and Health Minister to listen to frontline healthcare professionals

Green Party Leader Matt MacFarlane is voicing his concerns about what he calls the P-C government’s continued mismanagement of health care in the province.  MacFarlane is calling on the premier and health minister to listen to the front line professionals trying to hold the system together — highlighting recent warnings from the Medical Society of P-E-I.  He says health care professionals have told him the unilateral rollout of P-E-I’s key performance indicators has been damaging and disrespectful, as the system was put in place without proper consultations from doctors.  He says health care cannot be fixed by ignoring front line voices.
