The P-E-I government is installing new, high-visibility signs along the Island’s coastline warning of erosion and flooding hazards. The bright yellow signs will replace the old green-and-yellow signs. The government says the new signs are “very noticeable” and will grab people’s attention at 15 locations along the province’s three-thousand-kilometre coastline. Infrastructure Minister Ernie Hudson says extreme weather events and climate change have intensified the hazards associated with erosion and flooding.
