New PEI Business Group

Prince Edward Island has a new business group that will bring together chambers of commerce members and business leaders from across the Island.  The new Prince Edward Island Business Economic Council was announced this week in Charlottetown.   Its main goals are to drive sound economic policy and champion entrepreneurship.   As well, the non-partisan, volunteer group plans to offer recommendations through an annual report and economic scorecard.
