On Thursday night, Junior Achievement Prince Edward Island hosted its Gala, inducting the newest members of the JA PEI Business Hall of Fame — Wayne Carew, Kim Green and Wayne Proude.
Wayne Carew is a prominent businessperson, having owned Carew Chev Olds Cadillac and Carew Ford Lincoln — but also a community leader having served as a Canada Games Chair and Co-Chair, and on numerous boards. Kim Green is a dynamic entrepreneur and former Owner and CEO of Kays Wholesale.
Wayne Proude started in the shoe business in 1958, and owned and operated Proude’s Shoes from 1965 until his retirement in 2023, turning it over to his son Kevin.
