Green Party opens nominations for Districts 9 and 15

The Green Party of PEI has opened nominations for District 9 Charlottetown-Hillsborough Park and District 15 Brackley-Hunter River.  Nominations will close on June 25th.  By law, the by-elections must be called by August 11th in District 9 and by August 21st in District 15.  The Green Party sees the by-elections as an opportunity to increase its presence in the provincial legislature and regain Official Opposition status.
