A 52-year old man is facing drug and tobacco charges after a targeted traffic stop early Sunday morning. The Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit conducted the traffic stop on Beach Street at about 12:55am. It resulted in officers seizing 277 grams of Cocaine, 300 Dilaudid tablets, 57 Hydromorphone capsules, 34-hundred contraband cigarettes, $3000 cash and two cell phones. The man has been released with conditions and is facing a date in Provincial Court.
