Spring sitting of PEI legislature comes to a close

The spring sitting of the PEI legislature came to a close on Friday.  The eight week session was the first for the PC government led by new Premier Rob Lantz.  Prominent issues during the sitting included ensuring student safety in PEI schools, the Province’s tourism deal with the NHL, and Interprovincial trade.
