Work being done Friday at John St./Kellow Dr. intersection in Cornwall

Work is being done Friday on upgrades to the wiring and cabinet for the traffic lights at the intersection of John Street and Kellow Drive in Cornwall. A new detection system will also be installed at the intersection.  The work will be done between 9am and 3pm with stop-and-go traffic in place. The Transportation Department says that for an alternate route, motorists can use the Cornwall Road to connect to the Trans-Canada Highway to and from Charlottetown.
