Gas, furnace oil and diesel prices all increased overnight on PEI. The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved an increase of 5.0 cents per litre in the price of regular gasoline, and 6.0 cents per litre in the price of premium gasoline. The price of furnace oil went up by 6.0 cents per litre, while the price of diesel rose by 7.0 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from $1.51 to $1.53 per litre. Diesel goes for $1.53 to $1.55 per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is $1.12 per litre. Propane prices decreased by between 1.4 and 7.8 cents per litre. Propane prices now range from 83 to 87 cents per litre.
