This is National Police Week across Canada

Not only is this National Nursing Week, it’s also National Police Week — a public awareness campaign that encourages connections between police here on PEI and the communities they serve.  Under the theme “Committed to Serve Together,” the campaign  acknowledges the crucial partnership between members of a police service, between police services, between the police and other first responders, as well as between the police and the organizations and people in the communities they serve. PEI has a number of Police agencies serving in the province, including the RCMP, Charlottetown Police, Summerside Police and Kensington Police.
