The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved increases overnight in gasoline, furnace oil and diesel prices. The price of regular gasoline increased by 4.0 cents per litre, while the price of premium gasoline went up by 3.5 cents per litre. The price of furnace oil increased by 3.5 cents per litre. The price of diesel rose by 2.0 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from $1.47 to $1.48 per litre. Diesel goes for $1.52 to $1.53 per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is $1.16 per litre.
