Canadians voted in record numbers in the advance polls

Elections Canada says a record number of people voted in advanced polls over the Easter long weekend.  It says 7.3 million people cast their ballots early between Friday and Monday, an increase of 25 per cent from the 5.8-million people who cast early ballots in the 2021 federal election.
