PEI RCMP is asking for assistance from the public in its investigation of a recent hit and run.
On December 21st, between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. near Marshfield at Route 2 and Route 222 (Suffolk Rd), there was a Hit and Run. Police say one vehicle, possibly a pick-up truck with four doors, rear-ended another vehicle. The collision caused significant damage to the rear-end of the vehicle and pushed it in the ditch.
Both vehicles were travelling eastbound on Route 2 near Marshfield. The suspect left the scene without stopping.
Anyone with information that could help identify the suspect is asked to contact Queens District RCMP or PEI Crime Stoppers.
