Route 9 – the Colville Rd., between Route 225 (Kinkora Highway) and Route 235 (Kingston Rd.) was closed to all traffic for a couple hours Sunday night due to a 2-vehicle collision. The RCMP advised for the collision and closure shortly before 6:00pm and the road was reopened after 8:00pm. RCMP, Island EMS and the North River Fire Department all responded to the scene. RCMP have not released any further details on the collision, including any word on injuries.
