The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has approved decreases in gas, furnace oil and diesel prices. The price of regular gasoline decreased overnight by 3.0 cents per litre. The price of furnace oil went down by 2.5 cents per litre, while the price of diesel dropped by 1.0 cent per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from 156.9 to 158.0 cents per litre. Diesel costs between 179.5 and 180.7 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 119.7 cents per litre.
