Charlottetown Mayor recognizes International Day of Persons with a Disability

Charlottetown Mayor Philip Brown issued a statement Tuesday in recognition of International Day of Persons with a Disability.  Brown calls it an important day to celebrate the many contributions made by individuals with disabilities in our community and abroad, and to reflect on the work still needed to ensure a fully inclusive community for all.  Brown encourages everyone to reflect on how we can continue to break down barriers and create a community where everyone feels valued and respected.
