New Simmons Sports Centre opens Monday

The new Simmons Sports Centre in Charlottetown opens Monday.  The opening of the centre was delayed from October 14th after a leak was discovered in the arena concrete floor slab which prevented staff from making ice. The City says extensive work and tests were carried out to locate the leak and make the required repairs, and the centre is now ready for users, and it will be open to the public at 3:00pm Monday.
