A 44-year old Charlottetown man has been charged with impaired driving by Charlottetown Police after providing breath samples that showed him to be twice the legal limit. He was arrested on Wednesday night as Police responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Mount Edward Road. Officers located the vehicle on Longworth Avenue, pulled it over and determined that driver was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and brought back to the Police Station where the breath samples were provided and the charge laid.
