Fuel prices rose overnight in PEI. The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved an increase of 2.5 cents per litre in the price of regular gasoline, while the price of furnace oil went up by 3.5 cents per litre, and the price of diesel rose by 3.5 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from 165.5 to 166.6 cents per litre. Diesel costs between 182.4 and 183.5 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 126.0 cents per litre.
