A delay in the opening of the new Simmons Sports Centre. It was expected to open on October 14th, but that won’t be happening because of what the City of Charlottetown calls “an unforeseen infrastructure challenge as part of the ice-making process.”
The City says the project team is working diligently to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and when it has some more details it will announce a new opening date.
