Charlottetown Parking Forgiveness Program

Downtown Charlottetown Inc., in partnership with the City of Charlottetown, is bringing back the Parking Forgiveness Program for October. During this month, if you receive a parking meter ticket in Downtown Charlottetown because you didn’t make it back to your paid meter in time, you are eligible to have that ticket forgiven, using a purchase receipt of $35 or more from a downtown business, as long as your purchase was made within three hours of getting the ticket. The program is for meter violations only and you should take your ticket and receipt to the Charlottetown Police Station on Kirkwood Drive within five days of the ticket being issued to have it waived. Only one ticket per person can be cancelled per week.
