Friday is final Advance Voting Day for Summerside Ward 5 By-election

The third and final Advance Voting Day is Friday for the By-election in Summerside for Councillor in Ward 5.  The Advance Poll is open Friday from 9am to 7pm at Credit Union Place.  Elections PEI says the total number of voters who have cast ballots during the previous two Advance Voting Days is 247, which is about 17 percent of the 1,455 eligible voters registered with Elections PEI in Ward 5.  There are six candidates seeking the seat on Council.  They are Gerard Deveau, Ginny Kennedy, Patrick McMahon, Pete Peters, Basil Stewart and Ken Trenholm.  Election Day is Monday.
