Fire causes extensive damage at business in Kensington

A large fire Tuesday night in Kensington.  The fire broke out at about 5:15pm at Valley Truss and Metal on Park Road in Kensington.  Large plumes of smoke from the blaze could be seen for miles as the fire caused extensive damage.  Kensington Police closed off Park Road to allow fire crews to do their work, and traffic on Route #2 coming into Kensington was being diverted to the Blue Shank Road. Kensington Police reported shortly before 9:00pm that Route #2 going into Kensington was reopened to traffic.
