Woman arrested in West Prince stabbing incident

A stabbing incident in West Prince.  It was about 11:30pm Wednesday when West Prince RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing in an area home. Officers arrived to find that a ;person who had been stabbed, and suffered what are described by police as serious but non life-threatening injuries.  Police located the suspect, a 22-year old West Prince woman, a short distance away.  She was arrested and is to appear in court Thursday in Summerside to answer to charges in relation to the incident.
