Charlottetown Police investigating after collision on Riverside Drive at Walker Drive

Charlottetown Police are investigating a serious collision Saturday afternoon at the roundabout on Riverside Drive at Walker Drive. A section of Riverside Drive had to be closed off to traffic for several hours into Sunday as Police conducted their on-scene investigation and crews cleared the scene.  Maritime Electric was called in to complete extensive repairs to its infrastructure that had resulted from the collision.  Power had been knocked out to hundreds of Maritime Electric customers in Hillsborough Park and other areas of Charlottetown.  Few other details have been released by Charlottetown Police to this point.
