Province and Borden-Carleton accepting proposals for developing former fabrication yard

Together with the Town of Borden-Carleton, the Province will be accepting proposals from those in the private sector who are interested in developing the former fabrication yard.  Borden-Carleton Mayor Randy Ahearn says the development of the old fabrication yard will play a significant role in how the town will shape its future for many generations.  Finance PEI will be accepting requests for proposal (RFP) through a competitive process. Applicants will be rated on criteria that includes Development team; Developer access to financing; and alignment with community vision and goals.  Proposals will be accepted by Finance PEI until November 13th at 2:00 p.m.
