Canada’s premiers, including Premier Dennis King, have headed home from their summer meeting of the Council of the Federation.
The premiers of the 10 provinces and three territories were in Halifax for their three-day gathering hosted by Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston.
A closing statement issued yesterday says key priorities discussed included housing, affordability and emergency preparedness.
Several premiers expressed frustration over what they said was a lack of teamwork from the federal government on important files.
