Order of PEI

Three Islanders have been chosen as this year’s recipients of the Order of Prince Edward Island. Kathryn Dau-Schmidt, Dr. Ed MacDonald and Reginald “Dutch” Thompson were selected for the province’s highest civilian honour from a field of 49 nominees. Insignia of the Order will be presented by the Lieutenant Governor at a special investiture ceremony in the fall at Government House, Charlottetown
