Active Atlantic hurricane season predicted

Hurricane season is set to be an active one this year, the East Coast is likely to see an increased number of storms due to La Nina.  The Canadian Hurricane Centre’s Bob Robichaud pointed to the latest data released by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in the United States.  It predicts 17 to 25 named storms with eight to 13 becoming hurricanes.  About a quarter are expected to become major hurricanes.
