Charges have been laid by Charlottetown Police after an incident Friday night on Brackley Point Road. At about 8:35pm, Police responded to several calls that a man had damaged a hotel room and was on foot north of the bypass on the Brackley Point Road and had struck a passing vehicle with a hammer. When police arrived on scene, they were told that the man had returned to his hotel room. Police located the man, arrested him and took him to the QEH for evaluation before putting him in jail for the night. A 29 year old Cornwall man has been charged with mischief over $5000 and causing a disturbance.
