Last week, while executing a search warrant at an apartment building on Doncaster Avenue, the Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit noticed that a nearby unrelated apartment appeared to have been broken into. Officers located a man and woman inside and arrested both for break and enter. The investigation led to the discovery of a quantity of Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia that police say was consistent with drug trafficking. The woman was released pending further investigation. A 53 year old Charlottetown man has been charged with break and enter, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation. He has been remanded in custody.
