Lawrence Maxwell wins Entertainer of the Year at Music PEI Awards

The best in PEI music were honoured Sunday night as the Music PEI Awards were handed out during a gala concert held on the mainstage at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.  Multiple award winners included Noah Malcolm, The Umbrella Collective and Sirène et Matelot, as they each won two.  Other big winners included Lawrence Maxwell as the Entertainer of the Year;  Tara MacLean’s Sparrow was named Single of the Year; and the East Pointers Safe in Sound won Album of the Year.
