There’s a Special Weather Statement in effect for all of PEI, but now also a Snowfall Warning for Prince County. A total of 10 to 20mm in rain is expected Wednesday across PEI, and then another 5 to 10 mm in rain is expected for Kings and Queens Counties when it starts up again overnight. Upwards of 25cm of snow and ice pellets is possible in parts of Kings and Queens Counties through the day and night on Thursday. For Prince County, 10 to 20mm in rain Wednesday, then 5mm in rain and a couple centimeters in snow overnight. Heavy snow giving up to 15 to 20cm is expected in Prince County on Thursday through the day and evening.
