The Wind Warning was still in effect across all three counties in PEI Thursday morning with wind gusts to 90kh before diminishing to 60 to 70kh later in the morning.
We are starting to see the winds diminish. Traffic restrictions had been in effect on the Confederation Bridge since about 10:30pm Wednesday night with winds in the Strait gusting well over 100kh. But those winds have diminished and as of about 7:15am Thursday the traffic restrictions were lifted.
Prince County is also under a Rainfall Warning with heavy rain forecast at times Thursday morning.
