Tragic crash in Nova Scotia’s Pictou County claims life

Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating a traffic accident in Pictou County.  A 42-year-old woman from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia died after her car hit a deer and then was struck from behind by a transport truck.
Police say the crash occurred early Friday evening on Highway 1-0-4 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia
The woman was flown by LifeFlight to Halifax, where she later succumbed to her injuries, and the truck driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
