The visiting Arizona Diamondbacks advanced to the World Series for the first time in 22 years Tuesday night by stunning the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series. Arizona advances to play the Texas Rangers in the World Series, with Game 1 set for Friday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Sauble Attack supplied the middle piece of a Kenny Murphy driving triple in last night’s feature at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway. Murphy and Sauble Attack led at every call in the $3,600 Preferred Pace for a win in 1:56.3. Paul Biggar trains the now 20-time winner for fellow co-owner Donald Callbeck. Live racing continues Thursday evening at 6 P.M. at Red Shores Charlottetown. The final card of the season at Red Shores Summerside is slated for Sunday at 1 P.M.
