Alexis Jadis named Team PEI’s flagbearer for opening of North American Indigenous Games in Halifax

The North American Indigenous Games are set to begin this weekend in Halifax, hosting competitions in 16 sports within 21 venues.  The Games will bring together more than 5,000 athletes, coaches and team staff from about 756 Indigenous Nations.  The North American Indigenous Games run from Saturday through July 23rd.  Alexis Jadis of Abegweit First Nation will be Team PEI’s flagbearer for the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 North American Indigenous Games in Halifax on Sunday night.
